The year 2010 brought in goal setting and achieving them methodically into my life. All goals till now in life have been vague and generic, such as, get placed in a good company, score good marks, blah blah. Never anything specific. However, 2010 started with 4 specific goals in mind. With 3 done and pursuit of 4th going on, I should say, 2010 has been a good year.
Some memorable moments:
- the year started with a treat at Barbeque Nation and roaming arnd on the bike at midnight.
- Narsapur Forest trek.
- TEDxHitechCity (a little bit of organizing and attending the event)
- KK's performance at Annual party.
- Bouldering at Durgam Cheruvu.
- exhibiting my art creations in DESIS Art Exhibition.
- Sun Tech Days
- The Sar Pass Trek, its preparation, and the outing around it (Simla, Delhi, Chandigarh)
This will be memorable for a very long time. I (and ppl who know a little about me) would have never imagined me do this. A wild dream come true :)
- The Promotion (that review and the way Vikas announced it to me)
My first in life. Though the promotion was a result of my work since joining, it was a good thing to get it.
- SVM team outing.
- Vizag Arakku Trip
- GTAC (Meeting Dr. James Whittaker and talking to him)
- Santosh's (for the total family get-to and fun after a long gap) and Sowmya's (first time full night at a wedding) marriage.
- a little insecure feeling created at office for a while.
- Konaseema trip
Organizing the trip, and having loads of fun. The boat ride at sea will definitely be memorable. Also the pic of myself lying on the boat surrounded by greenery of the forest, sun's golden reflection on water and a serene environ will be in mind for sometime.
2010 also saw me
- say tata to three good friends made at hyd (Aishwarya, Raga and Pradeep)
- attend plenty of marriages - Karthik Rajagopalan, Ravikiran, Santosh, Abilasha, Jayamohan, Sowmya (colleague), Charitha.
- miss a few of marriages (Meenakshi, Angeline, Anand's Sis, Malathy/Krovi)
- get closer to a group of frnds at school (Anand, Hema and Varun), chatting almost everyday.
- enjoy more parties.
- work under three managers - Vikas, Siva Malli and Suresh.
- have more falls off bike.
- try to understand more about health.
- go to plenty of treats.
- buy my first Coat suit (for a guy who doesn't even have a formal full shirt, this is worth mentioning)
- mentor a new guy into the team.
- hear the glad news of marriages being fixed for frnds - Pravin/Usha, Vaishnavi, Susindar, S Rajesh.
- hear about all the preparations made by Pravin for his marriage and get slightly scared of marriages :P
- become uncle to Sruthi's and Uma's new borns.
- shout wildly at Endhiran three times :)
- take mom to a carnatic concert after 8 years.
- become a regular visitor of the kapaleeshwar temple at Chennai.
I guess there will be more. But this will do for now.

Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the number of moments that take our breath away.Thanks 2010. Hope, wish and pray 2011 is better than you :)
